Western Interpreting Network Sponsors Championship Softball Team, SoCal Chaos
TEMECULA, CA -- July 20, 2009 -- Western Interpreting Network (WIN) is sponsoring the Farwest Regional Deaf Championship softball team, SoCal Chaos. The team plays as part of the National Softball Association of the Deaf.
"Sports are traditionally an important part of the deaf community," said Moon Feris, Vice President of WIN. "We are proud to sponsor a first-rate team like SoCal Chaos."
Phil Janes, Coach of SoCal Chaos said the team was proud to wear their new uniforms. "We want to say big thanks to Western Interpreting Network for their sponsorship," said Phil. "If not for WIN we could not make it to NSAD."
The team will next be playing at the NSAD tournament in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, August 6 - 8. Below is a photo of the WINning team.
