Western Interpreting Network Sponsors GUAA Fundraiser
TEMECULA, CA -- November 17, 2008 -- Western Interpreting Network (WIN) was pleased to sponsor the Riverside Chapter of the Gallaudet University Alumni Association's fundraiser on November 16. The fundraiser was held to provide scholarships for deaf high school students planning to attend Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.
"This will help continue our support for high school seniors to be ready for enrollment at Gallaudet University.," said Darlene Wadler, President the Riverside Chapter of GUAA. "We feel blessed to have your part of the team."
"We feel that supporting educational opportunities for deaf youth is an excellent way for us to give back to the community," said Moon Feris, vice president of WIN. "And being Gallaudet alumni ourselves, Eric and I are happy we can support the university as well."
