Western Interpreting Network to Open Video Interpreting Center

TEMECULA, CA -- April 7, 2008

Western Interpreting Network (WIN) is opening a video interpreting center in Corona, CA. WIN is Southern California's premier provider of high-quality interpreting services.

Unlike in-person interpreting, video interpreting does not require the interpreter to be in the same location as the consumers. Instead, users of the service connect to an interpreter using video conferencing equipment, a videophone, or a webcam.

"We are excited to be taking WIN in this new direction," said Moon Feris, vice president. "Video interpreting will make us both a more attractive employer, and increase our exposure in the community. Plus, we will now be able to better accommodate those interpreters who like to work in the video interpreting setting."

The center will begin operations in May.
